Red Among the Ruins series documents the tearing down of Los Angeles – buildings erased, landscapes gutted, histories cleared for what comes next. In every image, red leaves push through the wreckage. They're not metaphors. They're what actually grows when everything else is gone.

The work is rooted in LA, but the scenes could be anywhere – Detroit, Phoenix, Atlanta. This is the American condition: constant demolition, relentless rebuilding, and the stubborn life that finds a way through the cracks.
