Architectural Moods

I photograph Los Angeles architecture to reveal what's overlooked – the way a brutalist parking structure holds light, how a mid-century facade ages against palm trees, the strange beauty of functional spaces no one thinks to notice.

LA's buildings range from iconic landmarks to anonymous structures most people pass without seeing. I'm drawn to both, but not for their design credentials. I'm after the moments when scale shifts, when materials contrast, when the ordinary becomes unexpectedly compelling.

My background in architecture and landscape design taught me to read buildings as constructed environments. My photography asks viewers to slow down and look again – to see design not as backdrop, but as something that shapes how we move, feel, and experience the city.
